Terms of Service

Effective June 2026· Pivot Point — Lymphatics & Remedial Therapies

These terms apply when you use the Pivot Point website and when you book or receive a session with us. Pivot Pointis operated by Makayla Potts of 181 Melbourne Rd, Rippleside VIC 3215 (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using this site or booking a session, you agree to these terms.

1. Our services

We provide remedial massage, manual lymphatic drainage and related bodywork. Our treatments support your wellbeing but are not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Always consult your doctor or another qualified health practitioner about a medical condition, and seek urgent care for any urgent concern. We may decline or stop treatment where it is not clinically appropriate.

2. Bookings and appointments

Appointments are booked through our online booking system, which is provided by Cliniko. A booking is confirmed once you receive a confirmation from us. Please arrive on time; arriving late may shorten your session, as we may not be able to run over into the next client’s time.

3. Cancellations and no-shows

We ask that you give at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to change or cancel an appointment. Late cancellations (less than 24 hours) and no-shows may be charged at 50% of the session fee. We understand that genuine emergencies happen — please get in touch and we’ll do our best to be fair.

4. Pricing and payment

Prices shown are in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable. Payment is due at the time of your session unless we agree otherwise. Where you are eligible, we can provide a receipt for a private health fund rebate, and we welcome NDIS participants — please discuss your funding arrangement with us when booking.

5. Your health information

So we can treat you safely, you agree to give us accurate and complete information about your health, including any conditions, injuries, medications or pregnancy, and to tell us about any changes. We handle your information in line with our Privacy Policy.

6. Your rights as a consumer

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, including that they will be provided with due care and skill. Nothing in these terms removes or limits those rights. The limitations below apply only to the extent the law allows.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, and subject to your consumer guarantees above, we are not liable for any loss or harm that is not a reasonably foreseeable result of our failure to provide the service with due care and skill — including reactions where you did not disclose relevant health information.

8. Use of this website

The content on this website — including text, images and the Pivot Point name and logo — belongs to us and is provided for your information only. You may not copy, reproduce or reuse it without our permission. We aim to keep the site accurate and available, but we don’t guarantee it will always be error-free or uninterrupted.

9. Third-party services

Booking and payment are handled through Cliniko, and some links may take you to third-party websites. Those services have their own terms and privacy practices, which we don’t control and aren’t responsible for.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version, with its effective date, will always be available on this page.

11. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. If you have any questions, contact us:
